DAVID ZHANG

Project Lead, Berkeley M.Eng. 2018

David has a passion for renewable energy and clean technologies. With over three years of product management experience Siemens Energy, he has worked on a range of global projects. He is currently a graduate student at UC Berkeley studying advanced energy technologies.

POL MOLINAS

Pilot Testing Lead, Berkeley M.Eng. 2018

Pol has a mind teeming with innovative ideas and outside-the-box solutions. His testing efforts have led to the delivery of safe, high quality products. Pol is currently pivoting to big data and data analytics while leveraging his engineering expertise.

Microgrid Lead, Berkeley M.Eng. 2018

Experienced, trustworthy, fun. These are just a few of the ways coworkers describe this invaluable member of our team. Shikhar's background in data analysis, algorithm development, and energy demand modeling has been essential to Eco-Solar's cost effective microgrid model.

KEYU WANG

Prototype Lead, Berkeley M.Eng. 2018

Keyu brings a range of manufacturing and prototyping experience to Eco-Solar. As an undergraduate at UCSD, he developed and built a canned foods sorting machine in under three months. He will be starting his professional experience at General Motors after graduation.

HAIXU YIN

Electrical Lead, Berkeley M.Eng. 2018

Haixu has an extensive engineering background and has worked on power systems for both small scale and industrial scale projects. Haixu led the electrical design of the solar umbrella including the integration of electrical safety components. He is currently pursuing opportunities in renewable energy.
